Building a more energy efficient fleet

Over the past two years Electrio has been upgrading its fleet to be more energy efficient - in part through investing in electric vehicles. 

The company now has two all-electric vans and will be taking delivery of a third later in the year. In addition, it has upgraded three of its deisel fuelled vans with more fuel efficient models to help reduce emissions. Electrio also has one all-electric company car and two new ones on order, to be delivered in January 2023.  

Fleet now 25% electric 

Tony Long said; "We were keen to reduce our carbon emissions and upgrading our fleet was an obvious place to start. As electrical engineers fleet electrification was high on our agenda and I am pleased to say that  25% of our fleet is now electric. We will continue assessing costs and replacing older vehicles either with electric vehicles, or more efficient alternatives, over the coming years."
